My childhood highlight was living in Germany. Much time was spent traveling throughout Europe, experiencing various cultures, people, and foods. Upon my return to the United States, I completed high school and graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with an Art major and Business minor. After working for an art consulting company, Artists Circle Fine Art, for many years, I transitioned to real estate. Today, I'm a full-time Property Manager in the Washington DC Metropolitan area for approximately 20 commercial properties. However, I still stay involved in Artists Circle Fine Art on a consulting basis.
As you will see from this site, art is still very much a significant part of my life. I draw/paint, design jewelry, and enjoy event photography. I am also a member of the Fairfax Art League.
Having a personal love for pets, I enjoy incorporating pets in my art and designs. Memorializing pets, pet portraits, and even pet/house sitting, or what I like to call my Pet Butler services. Let me know where you live, how many pets you have, special instructions and I'll let you know my rates.
Overall good health is important to me. I enjoy organic fresh foods from open air farmers markets and when it's off season, I frequent Whole Foods and Trader Joe's for unique finds. Experimenting with recipes is a fun weekend activity. Partaking in various exercise classes is also something I thoroughly enjoy. These classes include yoga and all kinds of dance because I love love love dancing.
Close to my heart is volunteering. I enjoy participating in various events, whether for local events such as hosted via radio stations or national events such as hosted via Vitamin Water. Events include Washington Redskin's Lorenzo Alexander Ride to Provide, National Center for Children and Families Annual Art & Soul Charity Auction, American Heart Association Heart Delight Wine Auction, The Corcoran Gallery of Art Family Festival, and most recently The Washington Humane Society Fashion for Paws. My roles vary from face painter, model, auction attendant, docent, and the like.
